The reproduction line is so popular that he has been featured in many magazines over the years, most notably the Mary Englebreit December 2003 issue. Growing beyond those roots, the Cody Foster Company, who changed their name in 2005 to Cody Foster & CO., supplies us with vintage style folk art and ornaments for all holidays. Back then, Cody Foster was the artist/designer and was inspired by his grandma, who was instrumental in teaching him the skills he would need to design and construct the wonderful folk art dolls. When he owned a small folk art company called Backporch Friends, he was just 16, establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with when he formed that company in 1991. We have known Cody Foster so long, in fact, way before he started what we know today as Cody Foster & Co.
